Title: Micro Stakes Rush hand
Post by: david3103 on April 21, 2010, 02:29:22 PM
My Rush bankroll has had it's ups and downs and without the assorted bonuses and the rakeback would be hiistory by now but I'm working on it and starting from the bottom agaiin

This session started badly but I'm on a streak

Is this a call? I'm not on my laptop so I have no meaningful history on anyone in the hand

This is a fold for me. Even if the other guy calls 100% of the time (which he obv doesn't) we still don't have the odds with one more card.

If you're playing a hand at rush no matter how strong you should be raising.

There is no range balancing etc. to worry about, no need to worry about people seeing patterns so raise and take the initiative.

MrsV is only calling if she's beating you and more likely shoving but either way it doesn't improve your odds enough.

As already said you should be raising the flop, as played fold.

me neither, probably should only 3bet your value range and maybe the top of your folding range as an occasional bluff but at 5nl i would stick with my value range of big pairs and AK etc. A9s doesn't fall into either category and i think peeling this OTB is fine.

no need to raise top of our bluffing range ever, just move on. nexttttttt.

squeezing in rush is pretty fun and villains usually sigh fold.
