Title: Firefox issues
Post by: cia260895 on April 28, 2010, 07:57:10 PM
When I try to click on the bookmark or most visited tabs the outline of the box comes up but doesn't display anything so I have to try and guess the position of the bookmarks, also am having  some issues of slow loading pages,

Anyone know of any fixes?

Use Opera

LOL - or use a browser that actually displays most websites as they were intended to.

Odd comment, I'm sure Opera will have no problems with a properly made site.

I use FF because it has loads of handy extensions that help me work but otherwise I'd be happy to use Opera.

[ ] Most sites are properly made.

That's the point.

I used to use Opera as well as FF, but it got to the point where I had to continuously revert to FF to use sites and I now stick to FF.  Oh and the add-ons for FF make it a far better option for me than Chrome, which is a decent browser from the limited amount I've used it.

It's just your statement could be a little misleading as it makes it sound like Opera is at fault, when it isn't actually.

It's like getting a Lamborghini and then complaining it's no use on British roads.  You know the roads aren't ideal before you get it, so you should expect it not to work as well as other cars.

I'd venture most people don't know that though :P

A lot of people make this comment about sites that opera can't use. With the exception of a windows media player plugin (which you can prob get) I have no issues... examples please.

It would mainly be sites that were made for IE6, which means they'd have to be rather old.
