Recently got quite interested in this whole twitter business. im not into facebook or any of that other stuff, but i like twitter for some reason. maybe because it is still somewhat impersonal and anonymous.

anyway I am lazaroonie on there, if there are any other tweeters, then add your name to this thread and we can all follow/be followed...

I took this up recently too, but the whole idea (for me personally) is to use it as a micro diary to vent or share my usually-mundane-but-stressy-at-the-same time-life with everyone and nobody. I like that I can get stuff off my chest, publicly, yet still it's private as I haven't shared my identity.

I'm not sure whether I should create a second profile to be more connected or not, I kind of like not having to deal with other people on there lol.

Oh, the best way I've seen twitter described is "Facebook is those people you went to school with, Twitter is the people you wish you went to school with" sums it up pretty well I think.

Bugger me. If even Laz is tweeting now it's probably a sign that I'll have to start to stay up date with the kidz.

Don't know a lot about how it works, have used it before only to check what the latest goings on were in a given news story. I don't "follow" anyone or know how that all works.

Any experienced twitterers have any insight to the realpolitik of twitter? Anyone with a link to some decent "how to get the best out of tweeting" article or some such?
