Any reasonable opening range is all over this board, and I would've expected a blocking type of bet from ax, so I reluctantly pass. Hand 2 - I wouldn't bet very much, maybe 1/4 1/3 pot. hand 2 i was really torn between betting and checking, surprised that everyone pretty much says bet. obv i bet and he called with KK lol. Title: Re: 2 AQ hands, river decisions Post by: AlexMartin on May 16, 2010, 05:37:46 PM i was worried i was overthinking things on hand 1 but i thought about it and folded. couldn't decide if i liked how i played it and wondered whether raising turn is better and still not sure. hand 2 i was really torn between betting and checking, surprised that everyone pretty much says bet. obv i bet and he called with KK lol. guy is a tag, if he had a draw on this board he wouldnt be calling 2 streets, he would likely have the nfd, 2 big overs+fd or some kinda good combo. hence checking misses too much value as his betting range has next to no bluffs and is composed predominantly of showdownable hands, WE HAVE TO BET since we can get called by a tonne of mid pps, the odd huge hero can the occasional Q float (though this obv less likely than the rest) and villain will never/rarely bet worse for value.
