Ppl in these things just call, call, call. We raise. We probably get 3+ callers. Do we really want tens in this spot? A jack to ace flops so often and kills our hand. Why not flop a set and win mad dimes when they stack off 80bbs with top pair no kicker.

i think both is fine but i would go to build a pot route. checking is ok if ur a nit

but at these 3$ levels u can find alot easier spots then tt in bb with 3-4 limp  callers to act after u on the flop.
no one will ever fold top pair on the flop either in the early stages

lol, my raising range here is like QQ+ and AK :)


Kinda hard to say as it's gonna depend on bet sizes/board textures/# of opponents. Generally will be calling if we get raised unless the price is too big. 7 high boards will be a proceed with caution kinda deal usually.

Small stakes players peel with ridic shallow stacks which is what we want with Kings here. A lot are bad enough to think we have FE and shove over us.

In a $24 I shove

Raise is a tad hefty pre but fine, (I add 1x to my normal raise size) though I guess in the $3 tourns guys who limp see a flop regardless of raise size within reason so its fine.

I don't like the all in after the flop. Bet the flop and shove the turn. You're shoving for efffective 3x pot.

Played 5 games tonight just come 5th in one so a small profit for the day. Cant win the AJ < A6 flips sigh....

So my grinding for Paul Ho has come to an end. Couple of reasons really as I've been playing live quite a bit lately and not been putting a great deal of volume in for Paul. Paul and I were happy with how this went and I hope to work with Paul in the future!
