Title: Computer reseting to install updates. Post by: thetank on May 27, 2010, 11:44:58 PM I use the Windows Vista. It updates and a thing comes up in the corner saying computer will reset in 10 minutes, and it gives you the option to put it off for a few hours.
In case I miss that, computer could reset and install updates in the middle of poker games. Obv that would suck. Is there a way to change the settings so my computer will never update unless I tell it to. Opt in rather than opt out. Title: Re: Computer reseting to install updates. Post by: Bongo on May 28, 2010, 12:23:48 AM Should probably restart it when it says, otherwise bad things can happen.
Should be a setting in the control panel under windows updates so you can have it download automatically but only install when you say. No idea where that is on vista though. |
