If you want best price and not worried about direct use www.kayak.com - it searches numerous sites and is the same engine used by travel agents.

lol he still thought it was a good call after you went then i asked he to name 1 hand or 1 hand that you have shown while he was sitting at the table a few mins later he looked at me and said it was bad.

are you going to sell a small % of yourself to pay from the flight and hotel??

Title: Re: Flights to Vegas
Post by: Treeman on June 07, 2010, 10:23:44 AM
A. I've seen worse plays ( you had outs)
B. Me?  Make a play?  Nahhhhh
C. Ty
D. To u .....1% for $80. (discount to show I ain't bitter for the suckout)

Rhodesy.... Dunno whether to offer % ....spose if any one wants some I would b selling at face value.
I'd sell up to bout 10% I guess to cover my spends. ( didn't really expect to b going so I ain't flush for holiday funds)

A tip for those wanting direct flights

check the miles plus money rates for Virgin, even if you don't have the miles it often costs less to buy the miles that the amount you save

these flights do sell out though

Just told me about it. Don't think it was too bad. Perhaps a bit optimistic but there are hands in your opening range that you fold there. He just ran into one you didn't lol

Title: Re: Flights to Vegas
Post by: Treeman on June 07, 2010, 09:10:39 PM
Yeah it was full tilt...they just seem to of put my name on the ME lobby with all the other players who have won a seat,,,,no extra funds in my account  ??

well they are not aloud to buy you in mate by law, what i think happens is you meet them before the day you are going to play and they give you $10k and your ment to play the event but nothing stopping you walking away with your $10k and not playing

Mark

If you genuinely want to do this (ie not spend it on DIY/mortgage etc), then book your flights and pay for them now!

I have done this twice and ended up with new double glazing and a new car! Somewhere deep down i regret not going to Vegas (but the house is warmer in the winter!)
