Opened 1 pot in cut off which took down the blinds with a 5100 raise and drunkenly/proudly showed your new table friends 8 3 off.

You're wanting to be table captain and that should be the impression you're giving.

Utg + 2 - You look as you're pretty early position, and you have  Ac Qc  and make it your usual raise of 5100.

Pot is approxmiately 1800antes + 3600 blinds. 5400 in the middle.

Folds around to a Chinese guy with big shades on who quickly moves in for approxmiately 40k. Near enough half your stack. It's folded round to you.

You mention the fact that he seems pretty happy and must want a call. He giggles but you notice a slight nervousness in it.

So, for half your stack, and the fact that you're hoovering chips up left, right and centre OR you have been. You're on a new table now. Chip leader two to your left. Maybe thinks won't be the same...

Do you call here?

I think it's an easy fold here. I would say that you are very likely to be either racing or dominated. I just don't see the need to gamble for half of your stack at this point against an opponent who you have no real background info on. If he thinks you're pissed he may well beleive that you will be more likely to pay him off if he gets his chips in pre-flop with a monster.

Villain in this hand iirc is Fan Cao. EvilPie can tell you all about him.

Played against the Chinese guy for a few hours and he seemed very good.

He's very aggro post flop and likes to put people to the test for big chunks of chips. Definitely not scared to put a lot of chips in and did it several times and I can't imagine he had the nuts every time.

Given what I know of him and the fact that you're new to the table I'd say this is a call.

Don't expect to have him dominated though. He's either got some nice suited connectors, a pair or AQ / AK.

One more thing. Don't waste your time trying to wind Johnathan Butters up. He's better at it than you are.

At 150-300,he limped utg plus 1 out of 25k stack ish,i jammed for 5.6k from cut off, he snapped when folded back round to him wiuth 910ss lol
