Many countries celebrate the 23rd or 24th June , which is St. John's Day. Wikipedia lists all the different countries and days they call midsummer. Its not midsummer, its the first day of summer. The 21st June to 21st September is officially summer. Astronomically it varies, and this year, according to Owls Almanac was 21st June at 11.28 am so we are right .
