Title: Discounted Aussie Millions accommodation-still for sale! Post by: Lovejoy on December 20, 2005, 01:58:35 PM 8 night package for the period 12th-20th Jan 2006, which I am selling at a reduced rate of AUS$ 1130. It works out at AUS$ 1360 at the Crown poker rate,and you can add on extra nights if planning to stay longer. Info on the hotel for those who have never been can be found at:
http://www.crownpromenade.com.au/ Since advertising the 8 nights I have spare, I have had a HUGE amount of interest, but although everyone says it is a fair price, all prospective buyers seem hesitant to actually commit to paying any money for it!(that’s poker players for you). If someone does not buy it I will be using the spare hotel room as a shoe cupboard! Payment can be made by transfer of funds into my poker account on most sites, or maybe by deposit into Crown (I should have an account there still active). I think the room has to stay in my name for those 8 nights (because it was won on Party Poker) but you can book extra days around it and put your own card on the room with no problems. Dont you think that bringing the price down might be more apporpriate, gives a better deal to the buyer, and stops you from usng the room as a shoebox. Jeff-It was already discounted but whilst the world and his wife were happy to say they WOULD buy it, they all got a bit sheepish when it came to stumping up....marvellous. Jools-Am taking Siobhan with me this time to: a) make sure I get out into the sun from time to time b) protect me c) model a new line of swimwear so any casino-staff liasons would now and evermore be a no-no... Date casino staff...the very idea!!! :D Mel-see above...however I have a big bag(where's Frankie Howerd when you need him?) so stowing away is an option. btw...it is now SOLD!!! Happy days.
