He gave a crappy franchise in a non-lucrative city with no players to support him 7 years, fulfilled his contract and then went for the glamour move.

People in Cleveland need to get a grip. IMO.

Hmmmm.......

I'm sensing a slight bitterness from Mr Gilbert hidden somewhere within that text.

Also I think he may have covered himself with this cunning double negative:

"Cavaliers have not betrayed you nor NEVER will betray you"

Nice.

Oh and why is witnessed in quotation marks?

Because the Nike ad line used with James is "We are all witnesses."

Comic sans is always a good choice of font for something like that.

Sick of hearing about this on ESPN over here.  Stupid bloody netball!

I'm just back and you're right its been all over ESPN for over a week, even my 10 year old daughter was desperate to know what he was going to do!!!

Gilberts claim is just ridic, Miami are guaranteed a title in the next 3 years now that they have Lebron, Wade & Bosh.

The single greatest thing about leaving the US last month was getting away from LeBron "news" on ESPN, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Pointless, waste of time, imo... why don't they just start at 80 - 80 and play for 2 mins?  ;shame;

Would like to formally thank a certain bookmaker that have never properly replaced their former US sports odds (and poker) compiler for not taking down their "to win the NBA" prices when ESPN broke news of where Lebron was likely to go.....Its not much much but £100 @ 16/1 was very generous....Thanks

Not really, they will need to load up the rest of the roster with minimum salary players so unless they can get some good players to arrive for the minimum, players looking for a ring, then itll be hard for Miami.  Boshs defense isnt great either so its a pretty big hole up there.  Interested to see if Miami can add the right pieces around them or look to just outscore everyone else with their big 3.

Yeah you're right, I was just getting caught up in the hype. They'll still win it before Cleveland though!.

lol yeah the Cavs are fucked.  Unless they add a big name theyll show just how bad Lebrons supporting cast actually was.
