Still jobless, putting myself out there but the wheels move slowly.

Was round at my wife's Gran for lunch today and she was asking why I'm not playing poker in the meantime. Amazingly the wife thought she had a fair point (she's not the biggest fan of the pokers) but figures so long as I'm still applying for jobs and not getting into full time pokers again I might as well.

Going to try something slightly different to MTT sitngos, figure I'll could try regulary scheduled comps instead.
Gives us a chance to bink several thou, but I'm not asking backers to risk to much as although I'm a solid player, I don't have any recent record of playing a decent amount of scheduled MTTs.

I've done well in these sorts of things back in the Tribeca days. Thought I could put together a package that offers a backer a decent +EV punt.

I went looking for comps to play on FullTilt, the criteria being.

regging between 8pm and midnight

Some of them are double stack, some of them turbo, but there's no rush comps or 6-max.
A few of them are limited to under 180 runners, The early double is in there, as well as $15k and $32k guaranteed tournaments that have 1000-2000 runners.

Playing over 4 days, that's 60 tournaments in total





The stake I'm looking for is $702 (The sum of the 60 buyins)
The return would be 50:50 after stakeback.

Rakeback wouldn't be included in the return, it's only pennies and I'm not sure I get rakeback after spending some FPPs.
The return would include other bonuses those, like bounties or bonuses from the early double.

Fwiw some of the 3$ rebuys (it's 60k gtd on stars mid afternoon/evening)  are the best value comps to grind ever. Solid play for the win.

The rebuy isn't rush I didn't think but w/e fits with your schedule.

Only other thing is the $8+0.80 180 max tournaments don't seem to have a set start time, are starting 10 minutes earlier than they were the other night when I drew up the schedule.

One starts every hour maybe, and I think if 180 ever join within that hour the tournament starts and another is opened and regestration for the new tournament is open for 60 minutes, thus the start time changes.

In any case, plan is to play 5 of them.

About an hour ago I limped UTG and folds round to big blind who shoves with effective stacks of > 30 BBs.

First hand of the $26 doublestack was a little embarrasing. Shouldn't really be stacking off pre with QQ. I'm telling myself I would have folded if it wasn't the very first hand.

KK binked vs my AA for a nice usable stack as we were coming towards the bubble of the early double. Could've locked in a $5 mincash so I could.

Live to only 4 comps now, all low limit ones with relatively small amount of runners.
Looking pretty bleak as we've even pissed away our stack in that one where we were deep. (turns out guys with really high 3bet percentages sometimes actually have it)

Not giving up, could still bink our buy-ins back for the day.

Was about to be a good report for the hour but have just crashed out of the two comps I had a stack in.

We were looking good in the $22 turbo but crashed out in 14th, losing a race for a 2x average stack which would have been toasty as we could have then gotten frisky.

Was getting on quite well in the first $8.80 but spewed my stack away with TT. One of those ones where there's a shortie invlolved and you end up getting much more in than you intended coz you 3 bet him, a stack behind you cold calls and shortie shoves all in when it gets back to him for just enough to reopen the betting. meh, should have passed probs.

If I were doing the same thing again (which it looks like I won't be as 95% I have a job now, yay, jelly castle) I'd probs look to play only comps where it's possible to bink a couple of grand or more.

Ul Tank, yeah the full tilt mtt schedule is weird the guarentees that go off each hour will get really good fields and the rest are pretty pathetic.

I actually like the pathetic $22 and $33 turbo in the evening as the field size they play like a 90 man and I can add them to my 16tabling sngs without breaking the table max limit. That is a sneaky tip for full tilt grinders you can actually 18 table if you add 2 mtts to your normal mix.
