Title: Re: New Technology Post by: Graham C on July 29, 2010, 10:52:14 AM We have one of those saws at work and I hate using it, I bet there's loads of accident world wide with them each year. That's pretty damn clever.
Title: Re: New Technology Post by: Tonji on July 29, 2010, 11:34:54 AM That is incredible. Dragon's Den, they'd be wetting themselves at that invention.

Title: Re: New Technology Post by: boldie on July 29, 2010, 12:33:23 PM That is incredible. Dragon's Den, they'd be wetting themselves at that invention. Especially since it's only $60 for each time the saw blocks up....it's mental..this is going to be HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE! Title: Re: New Technology Post by: EvilPie on July 29, 2010, 12:42:38 PM Bit of a swine when you lean over it, a bead of sweat drips off your forehead, hits the blade and $60 goes down the toilet.
Absolutely amazing invention but I think in practical applications it just won't catch on in huge numbers. Safety conscious company's who would buy this sort of gizmo have other devices and procedures in place which means this sort of thing is unnecessary. Other company's wouldn't care. I think the nuisance "trips" would outweigh the genuine ones by such a huge factor that anyone who installs one of these would get rid within a month of replacing the thing every couple of days.
