Still negotiating, sounds like the union want a counter off and are not as hell bent on a strike as BA were. We will probably know mon/tues if they are going to strike. 23rd is the earliest dater they can strike but the may well go for the bank holiday weekend if they do.

still even if i manage to get my flight out on time, there still maybe the problem of the return, but TBF thats less of a worry  :)

My problem is if I have to go out earlier, I don't have any holiday left this year, not sure if could could take some unpaid leave, will have to ask. Will just see what they decide to do and go from there.

Well I'm coming back on the 6th, I'm assuming that will be OK but it will be as a big a problem if I can't get back as I have a massive work thing the next day I have to do.

Yeah the unions are really stupid, and they wonder why the majority of people think they are wankers doing this sort of thing that will affect hundreds of thousands of people for the sake of a 3,000. They will be arguing over 1% or something, which will probably equate to an extra tenner per month or something.........
