Everyone knew about this tour. Everyone knew how soft the play was in general. There were regular satellites on Blue Square full of rubbish players (even BAM used to win seats that way). What exactly was holding you back?

I pretty much hate playing live for a number of reasons.

It wasn't a comment on this particular tour, it is just sick how much softer poker was 3 years ago. I was a lot worse back then as well, sadly.

Vicky is the ultimate professional. I was a little nervous beforehand, but she made it so easy.

IIRC Chufty had not been to bed the night before. He stayed up all nght playing PLO online and was not his usual self during this final. The heads up between Barry and Dave lasted over four hours and the lead changed hands a few times, however the producer decided that the storyline was going to be Colclough = best player ever, Neville = worst player ever. Both Vicky and Keith's commentary tended to back up this opinion. Barry felt quite rightly hard done by the editing and it was certainly not an easy win for Colclough. Neville made several good plays and bluffs which were completely ignored by the producer, as she had made her mind up about the 'storyline' of the event before it had even finished.

think you're missing the point bringing up jamie gold and jerry yang. They have binked one tourney and never been seen again, which obv anyone can. Saying Chufty is terrible when he has consistently cashed in big hold em tournaments is not the same thing. Just off the top of my head, making the final of the Aussie Millions, final of the GUKPT Grand Final and at least two other GUKPT finals, he's doing better than most at hold em, never mind how good he is at PLO and stud

The thing that amuses me looking back is how we had players tape up the logos on their hats when they were GUKPT logos!!

Seem to be missing Walsall from the list on Pokertube for some reason.  I'm sure Dan Carter will remember a hand on that final where a guy dwell called with the nuts on the river!  He was genuinely worried about sticking his chips in.
