Title: River Decision (Live)
Post by: pleno1 on August 22, 2010, 01:43:57 AM
Went to casino tonight. Only game running 50nl. Buy in for £100 and run it upto 280 when following hand occurs.

Villain 1 - Old man, raised to £7 pre with AK but only £2.50 w/ AJ, plays very face up, although "floated (chased)" a gutshot on flop and turn and I caught him bluffing on river. (£400)

Villain 2 - Pretty decent I know he never tries to bluff me and is pretty cautious (called with 2nd nuts against me previously) however knows im very capable of barreling/float raising etc etc (£250c ish)

Anyway

Shorstack villain straddles to £1
I raise UTG to £4.50 w/  Td Ts
Villain 1 calls (from c/o)
Villain 2 calls  (from sb)
Shortstack shoves £8.25 from straddle
I can only call, as do Villains numero uno and er two.

Flop is  Ahrt Tc 3h

Villain 2 checks
I bet £10
Villain 1 calls
Villain 2 calls

Turn is  9c

Villain 2 checks
I bet £45
Villain 1 calls
Villain 2 calls

River is  2c

Villain A checks
I ?

would bet 100ish and sigh fold to a shove vs described villians.

Im guessing this hand was posted cos one of them had  4h 5h (and the other one  4c 5c?!)

it worked out that it was an underbet, so he must shoved for like £7.50 or wte.

think id bet like 75 and fold to a shove. with it being the Ah on flop he could have AcXc, dont think he sounds like the type of player who would jam the naked Ac as a bluff and turn his hand into a bluff. he may even just flat with 4c5c on the river.

I dont think theres many hands he can actualy call the river with, pretty sure he'd fold out his ax hands, and would have got his sets and 2 pairs in by now, however, we just cant check back a set on this river.

Why do you only lead for £10 on the flop? This is the perfect flop for you to get 3 streets of value from Ax. The pot is 30, bet like 24.

On this river I think they're only gunna have top pair hands the majority of the time so I don't think you can bet huge and get paid. The pot is 195 so I bet ~120.

pluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuus
one.

not really sure id be able to bring myself to bet fold, but if you get shoved on here thats fucking gross - chances are as described villains would just call unless they had  Ac with another club.
