Bale to play further forward tonight, bellamy on the other side. Such a shame we dont have at least one quality striker of the Rush/Hughes/Saunders era, we'd be a half decent team with them.
Title: Re: European Championships Qualifiers thread Post by: boldie on September 03, 2010, 02:46:07 PM We play San Marino tonight...over 4.5 goals is still massive odds on according to the bookies. I don't think I'll bother

King's done his groin too I like Wales' team on a three year view with Myhill/Ramsey/Collison/Bale/LedleyKing Maybe Morrison and Church can be the strikers you need in due course. Morrison is developing fast. Title: Re: European Championships Qualifiers thread Post by: ChipRich on September 03, 2010, 04:58:01 PM Start of the road for mine and BH's Belgium coo today.
Obv absolutely huge shots for the Euros, but were defo value at 250s, when we got on. (150s best now :)) Theyre 3rd fave for the group behind Germany and Turkey, although we reckon they'l finish ahead of Turkey and qualify. (not on anything to qualify though) Got a very decent young team and with players such as: Vermaelen, Kompany and Van Buyten, solid at the back. Fellaini, Defour and Witsel and Hazard in midfield and young superstar Lukaku up top along with Dembele and Mirallas. Lets hope for a good start and decent performance vs ze Germans tonight plz. Euros may come a bit early for them, but we'll now be supporting Belgium (along with England i guess). I put three spuds in my FF team last week, first they lose at home to Wigan and now Dawson gets crocked... Title: Re: European Championships Qualifiers thread Post by: Josedinho on September 05, 2010, 12:55:16 AM Sigh Rooney. Should have flown the bird out to the World Cup if thats what was missing.

Title: Re: European Championships Qualifiers thread Post by: Horneris on September 05, 2010, 01:09:09 AM Sigh Rooney. Should have flown the bird out to the World Cup if thats what was missing. How many of the England squad do you reckon AREN'T cheating on there other halves? Probably just James Milner whos a really nice lad. Title: Re: European Championships Qualifiers thread Post by: MANTIS01 on September 07, 2010, 11:30:13 AM Really disappointed. These "Rooney scores with £1,200 hooker" stories have really exposed Wayne as a man with poor judgement. I mean £1,200 for a hooker? That's insane.

Title: Re: European Championships Qualifiers thread Post by: Longy on September 08, 2010, 02:08:14 AM We were really good tonight, especially in the first half an hour it was like watching a true world class side.
Of course we couldn't possibly Capello any credit for this and bemoan how bad we were at the world cup. I am sure Arry " Wheeler Deeeeler" Redknapp would have done better guv. Title: Re: European Championships Qualifiers thread Post by: stonecoldkiller on September 09, 2010, 12:19:31 AM So Fabio has announced he will be stepping down after 2012, what reprecussions will this have if things dont go smoothly between now and then with all the egos in the dressing room.
Title: Re: European Championships Qualifiers thread Post by: pleno1 on September 09, 2010, 01:06:11 PM adam johnson/walcott future of england, looks bright. pleasently surprised with jagielka too.
Title: Re: European Championships Qualifiers thread Post by: mondatoo on September 10, 2010, 12:55:51 AM adam johnson/walcott future of england, looks bright. pleasently surprised with jagielka too. He did ok but Jagielka will never be in Englands 1st when fully fit,he will be dropped for Terry next game and he is 27 now so there'll be somebody better when Terry's done.I rate Walcott but I'm still unsure about him.Adam Johnson is abs class and can be as good as he wants to be;he's got bags of talent.BTW Rooney's only 24 and he is the actual future of England along with Adam Johnson and others. |
