In the meantime... The 2010/11 Sky Poker Tour kicks off in Blackpool on Saturday 30th October, & all being well (fingers crossed) Online Super Satellites for it will start tonight (14th September). A lot of Players have been asking for the Tour to visit Blackpool, & the famous G-Casino there, so this one is likely to sell-out pretty quickly. Rideout beat 22 year old Jamie Louise "Jamie Lou" Barrett from Rochdale, one of three female players at the final table, to the title. Rideout and Barrett, along with third place finisher Keith "Riddla" Ridley from Tynemouth, also win seats to September's Sky Poker Tour Grand Final at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham. Five of the Nine finalists were from the North East including the impressive Rachel "Run Flaming" Costa who was chip leader for much of the day. Her tournament sadly turned on a key final table hand when her Pocket Aces were beaten by Barrett's Ace-King on a flop containing two more Kings. The third Leg of the 2010-11 Sky Poker TOur takes place on March 12th at the G Casino in Luton. Entry is qualification only via satellies on www.skypoker.com which begin this week.
