Title: Re: drink driving bans Post by: kinboshi on September 23, 2010, 09:30:53 PM Depends.
I know someone who was twice over the limit and got 2 weeks in prison (they hit another car, so don't know if that was why they got a custodial sentence)! Someone else who was about the same, got a 12-month ban, think it depends on the magistrates. I believe you get banned for 15 minutes. not sure if you know the reasoning behind it. quite ridic really but we couldn`t actually drop him Quote The Jets had few options in terms of discipline due to the rules of the collective bargaining agreement. Any punishment they would dole out now -- other than what the NFL eventually decides -- would violate the CBA. That means the Jets could not deactivate him or keep him active and not play him without risking a violation. Most people don't have the desire to do it but not many would refuse to do it if they knew how. Sandy |
