BB (t36101) UTG (t13686) UTG+1 (t11120) Hero (MP1) (t21368) MP2 (t11435) CO (t32783) Button (t28652) SB (t37021) Hero's M: 34.46 Preflop: Hero is MP1 with K(http://www.flopturnriver.com/pokerforum/images/smilies/heart.gif), A(http://www.flopturnriver.com/pokerforum/images/smilies/diamond.gif) 2 folds, Hero bets t560, 1 fold, CO calls t560, Button raises to t2660, 1 fold, BB calls t2380, Hero raises to t21343 (All-In), 3 folds Total pot: t8880 I've been very active, the guy who flat is a fish, guy who 3bet is pretty aggro, guy who cold calls is huuuuuge fish. Obv not folding, but is shoving better than 4bet calling. If I do 4bet smallish (which I guess I'd do if I was choosing to 4bet, the cold caller will call 100% of the time.) how does this help our decision? Title: Re: 4bet sizing / shove $75 mtt Post by: AlexMartin on October 01, 2010, 10:17:47 PM pretty sure 4betting to a committing amount (like 8k) is better as most average players are then more capable of folding midpairs, when you jam they just think "ok he likely has AK, i call (w 99-JJ)". dont think its ever a spot where balance is important and jamming w AA/KK is prolly best..................
(forgot obv too shallow to get some spaz/induce from worse AX) Title: Re: 4bet sizing / shove $75 mtt Post by: pleno1 on October 01, 2010, 10:27:59 PM Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em Tournament, 250/500 Blinds 50 Ante (9 handed) - Full-Tilt (http://www.flopturnriver.com/reviews/Online-Poker-FullTilt.php#converter) Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (http://www.flopturnriver.com)
