ALL SELECTIONS TO HORNERIS THIS WEEK AS I AM AWAY THIS WEEKEND

24 players - new provisional prize of $960.

$20 to thanx4chips on 'Stars or scotty2hatty on Tilt - you can only play if you played LMS 4. Payment must be received by 12pm Saturday 9th of October.

Rules

1. You must select a team to win in any game from England (EPL down to League 2) or Scotland (SPL down to 3rd Division) each weekend. International/Cup weeks may be void.

2. The game must be a Saturday 3pm KO.

3. You cannot select the same team twice.

4. All selections PMed to me by 12pm on the Saturday. I will then post selections on the public forum. If you forget to pick a selection, you are eliminated. You are also eliminated if you pick a team you have selected in a previous week; PM me after 12; or chose a team not in a 3pm KO.

5. If your selection wins, you move on to the following week. If your team loses or draws, you are out.

6. If in one week every player loses then a rollover will occur and all of the initial players will have the option of paying $20 to be back in the game. No new players may enter.

7. Game finishes when only one player remains.

8. Absolutely no deals.  

9. Gamesmaster's decision is final.

If that's the case I don't get why someone who entered and didn't pay coz he took a huff over the rules so decided to grimm would be allowed to play the rollover but somebody who hadn't wouldn't be allowed to pay double and has no added advantage couldn't play.BTW I'm not looking to play as I'm to stupid but just my opinion.

Agree that ACE2M should have paid up earlier. He's not the only one to have gone out after failing to submit at pick or picking an invalid team.
Understandable if he's annoyed with himself but he dragged it out too long.

I think he should either be allowed to ship for the rollover and let back in or be fully refunded. Doesn't seem right that we can accept his $20 entry but not let him in.

Agree with Camel. Didn't ever think you wouldn't pay but you left it so long that it could look like angle shooting. A one week "huff" would have been sufficient.

fair play. my huff was genuine for about a day but i probably dragged my revenge out a bit to long. I didn't even realise a rollover was a likely scenario until someone said i was waiting for it (i still didn't read the rules after week one debacle).

don't refund me any money but i will ship and play if invited for rollover round.

OK, so I decided to let ACE2M in cos I felt like a dick for excluding him even though he was taking the piss out of me initially.

Also, and more importantly, this weekend I am away to London for the UFC so I need someone to volunteer to receive the selections this week and to post them all in the thread at or after 12 on Saturday. So who can please help out?

Just to be clear. If you selected a team pre-rollover you can select them again as the game has re-strated in effect?

I have emailed Brent back to ask him to include my pick as it was defo sent before 12 noon, scotty can vouch for this and I can forward you the email too.
