Darts is just so good.

wow so sick, brilliant match.

I only started watching after x factor but can't believe it.

Well done Adie Lewis, and well done for taking it gracefully and not like a prick.

Great match, the match last night was the greatest since the barney/taylor epic in 2007, did'nt have to wait long to see a better match than last nights.

I think Wade is an absolute steal at 1.7 for the final.

Lewis must be emotionally shot after that.

Taylors the one acting like a prick. Wants to be yer pal when he beats you and can't face the cameras when he loses. Lewis is just thick, showed some bottle to come back there though.

Its been a great tourney this week, Anderson/Taylor last night and Whitlock/Hamilton were great games as well.

He hasn't been beaten all year.

He takes defeat badly, that's just one of the many reasons he's the best darts player who will ever toe the oche.

I don't think refusing to do an interview tonight is unreasonable and he was very generous to Lewis on the stage.

Curses at darts becoming so popular, few years ago we went to see them at Reading, now it's all O2 and Wembley Arena.

Yes I know all that but he's a patronising prick at times (see post Anderson match last night).

Taylor is immense but thats a huge story tonight and darts fans will have wanted to hear from him after that, its not as if Dave Clark is gonna ask him any difficult questions. We all have to do things we don't want to at times.

I don't like the fella at all.

But he is the best and I can't help admiring him.

Lol@ Taylor, what a douche, Lewis has him on the ropes, so he tries some mind games and tries to put Adie off his game, not very classy!

Delighted Lewis won, obv he's pretty thick and uncomfortable in front of cameras but fair play to him.

I also agree with Teacake, Taylor can be extemely patronising in his interviews, saying how everyones a great player blah de blah, but then wont even come on when he gets beat.

I prefer to go with Lewis most 180s 10/11, cant argue that Wade should at least be 2s on for this though.

Incredible price you have for that, I seen 8/11 earlier which looked generous and after doing some calculations was about to jump on, cut to 4/7 now which is still backable.
In this Tourney Lewis averages 1 180 per 3.55 legs while Wade is 1 every 8.5.
Wade is slightly ahead on 140's but Lewis has played 20 more legs.
Wade will win as last night will have took a lot out of Lewis plus Wade has the experience in Major Finals.

Always disliked Phil Taylors arrogance, yes we all know how good he is, but when he wins something, i kinda think he patronises his oppo's. And when he wins a tourney, he makes sure everybody knows it is about him (i guess it is to be fair). I much prefer the way Tiger Woods Stephen Hendry. Steve Davis etc handle themselves after victory.

What else could Taylor say after decades of domination unheard of in any given sport?
Lot of pre-match verbals come from his opponents(Lewis being the biggest culprit) so post match he wants to say "i sent the cocky fucker packing AGAIN, despite them playing their A game i found it rather easy, most of them bottle it before a dart is thrown anyway"
He tries to be as diplomatic at possible from what i can tell, but you have to have a degree of arrogance to be at that level, all great sportsmen have had it
Interestingly, the 3 sportsmen you quote were in their hayday as arrogant as they come, the latter 2 more affable once their games were in decline,Woods just read an autocue for bog standard replies win or lose, yet was humping anything in a skirt when the lights went out and fooling millions and his clean cut image sponsors
Taylor deserves more respect from his peers as without him they wouldn't earn the money they do now,and wont when he eventually declines either
He looked tired on stage i thought for the first time ever Saturday when he needed to pull it out the bag, might be the start of old father time catching up
