Title: Re: are you ever folding here? (rush) Post by: outragous76 on October 13, 2010, 11:12:20 AM Might consider folding a billion bbs deep. because of redraws? Title: Re: are you ever folding here? Title: Re: are you ever folding here? (rush) Post by: EvilPie on October 13, 2010, 11:39:17 AM In a 7 way rush pot with this action I'd have to say this is a fold.
You aren't up against any big over pairs so there's only sets and straights + of course the odd big draw. I'd still call though cus I has a set innit. Title: Re: are you ever folding here? Although in some situations it may be deemed "correct" or "profitable" to fold.. we have a set, we dont have a set all that often in NL holdem, so get it in. Title: Re: are you ever folding here? Optimistic view is 44 and 9tss, and worst case scenario 56ss and 88. Title: Re: are you ever folding here? Just because Guy posted it because he lost there is no way this is a fold. Title: Re: are you ever folding here? (rush) Post by: outragous76 on October 13, 2010, 02:26:47 PM Well ive played a tonne of rush poker - and i barely even consider folding sets - but in rush you rarely get 2 people getting it in like this and you are good.
Rush is a full on nit fest, and even if the 1st guy is spazzig with an over pair there is no way on earth the 2nd guy is. So my best hope is that 2nd guy has 2 overs a the nfd, and 1st bloke is spazzing. Obv either could have the 56 - and although 44 and 88 are just coolers either way that i cant dismiss. So i tank called: 1st jammer 8s9s 2nd jammer ksTs wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii obv im not good enough to hold against 2 flush draws, nor to redraw to 9 cards - but whatever! i just wondered how snap happy people were here Title: Re: are you ever folding here? Folded 55 on a flop of 4h 5h 6h to massive action... hands were A6 no hearts and QQ with Qh. Felt a bit better when the 4th heart fell mind. Title: Re: are you ever folding here? (rush) Post by: SuuPRlim on October 14, 2010, 02:55:28 PM just asked a friend of mine who plays a shamefully large amount of FR pokers and he said its a call everyday, even 3way, as mega nitty as people are.
I would certainly never fold but im a fish and probs wouldnt fold 87 either Title: Re: are you ever folding here? (rush) Post by: DMorgan on October 14, 2010, 11:10:38 PM i just wondered how snap happy people were here very snappy and very happy |
