i have posted on live staking thread for advice due to never asking for staking before, with the good advice i recieved on the thread and a few phone calls i've opted for a small request very much in the backers favour more to prove my self.

ok after some thought, the idea i have come up with is more to prove i have ability and more for future requests.

the plan:
to play 30 $11 mtt's on pokerstars total cost $330 within a week
my cut is zero until i at least double the backers stake($660)
after this i will take 40% of any further profit.    eg total return $2000 10% stake would return $142.40    on $1000 return 10% stake would return $86.40
                                                                      
$2000 maybe a little presumtious but making double the stake isn't, therefore i would play 30 mtt's for free, which i am happy to do to prove myself

thoughts and suggestions please

absolutely not, full concentration will be on the staking period. like ive said cos i am using this as an exercise to prove myself for future requests, hopefully i will bink something nice for you and matt........for me its more putting myself in the shop window

ok no probs, no offence was taken. of course i know 30 mtt's proves little, the point of this thread was if i asked for 2000 $11 entries who the feck would front that.....but if i can make a profit over 30 mtts it would be more of an advertising exercise showing i can make a potential future staker a profit.
   the deal i have offered is very much in the favour of the backers and i'm extremely happy the 2 guys who have staked me, who i know, and would love to bink something nice for them.
    the "prove myself" comment was more to people who don't know me or have never seen me play, the guys who have backed me both know i can play and are probably doing it more as a favour and a bit of a punt thrown in.

    also you posted on my other thread, this is the 1st time i've ever asked for staking, so thats why i asked for advice....call it trial and error......like i said this is more to put me in the shop window.

As Cos said Neil played 60+ tourneys with no overall return. We changed things around from the original 30 comp stake but it was all done in agreement.

Looking at these few results I think Neil may be a decent long term prospect. It's not something I'll be doing with him though because I wouldn't like to upset the cart by bringing in someone who actually wins.

Muscles was just trying to shitstir anyway matt, he tried to slag neil off to me on msn at the time whilst throwing in a 'stake me' comment somewhere. Think prob just irritated that i ignored him.

    1st time i've looked at this thread since my last post, for other peoples information, contact was kept between myself, matt and cos via pm......i played 61 very big field tourni's on stars and cashed 13 times which is about 21-22% in the money....but as most are aware the payout structure on stars is tez unless you at least hit the f/t.
   both matt and cos knew and agreed to what i was playing, and i never felt the need to post updates on here as is was a short term "spin up" involving 3 people.

   i would really like to know what $muszlesz$ has said, i know you personally jason so pm me to let me know whats said, before i find out the truth from other people.
