Title: information regarding 2 day event... Post by: ryecarr01 on October 22, 2010, 02:11:16 PM Im playing in the Grand Prix at DTD next week, this will be the first time I have played in a 2 day event and was wondering if someone could shed some light on a few things for me...
At what point will day 1a end and day 1b end in order to give the final numbers for the sunday? Also if say for instance 1b reached the cap of 450 runners however 1aonly managed say 300, what would happen in that scenario to get the numbers for day 2? Hope this makes sense ...... Regards (first time poster!) Title: Re: information regarding 2 day event... Post by: Girgy85 on October 22, 2010, 02:18:45 PM Day 1a starts at 4pm mate we play 12 levels which will end around 2am. However many players are left will go thru to the sunday. Day 1b starts at 1pm and will finish at 11pm, like day 1a the remaining player move onto day 2.
Then im guessing a seat redraw will be made on day 2 which is then played to a finish, DTD expect this to be around 3am. Hope this helps mate! Title: Re: information regarding 2 day event... Look at the deepstacks - 300ish is usually down to 50-80ish for day 2. Expect 200-250 back for day 2. If that - might play a bit faster being only £50 and lots of runners to get through. Post by: PLOGrinder on October 24, 2010, 12:18:34 PM Whatever happens, 1a and 1b will play exactly the same number of levels (this number is sometimes altered after a tournament starts). In your example, if there were that many runners still in (extremely unlikely) they would play a further level to ensure enough bustouts.
