Fantastic or what? David tennant appears not only to be quite exceptionally pleasing to the eye, but rather good as a Gallifreyan! Only problem was... Too long til the new series! Standards slipping? Title: Re: O/T Dr Who! Post by: Heid on December 26, 2005, 11:31:30 AM He's been in civilisation for a while, plus it sounds like an Edinburgh accent - that's barely Scorish. I am sure he knows how to act in refined (ie English) company.

The two-parter set in 1913 was fantastic, tremendously moving and showing how good an actor David Tennant is (as he had to play a totally different character). Blink was properly creepy and properly clever. And the reveal at the end of last Saturday's was just one of those bits of TV you'll never forget. I cannot tell you how excited I am about the last two episodes of the series, given we know who the villain is. Never has this smiley been more appropriate. ;scarymoment; Title: Re: O/T Dr Who! Title: Re: O/T Dr Who! Post by: technolog on June 20, 2007, 10:59:55 PM Freema Agyeman is pretty easy on the eye too :P Isn't she just!!! ;kev; ...and I've been thinking all through the new Who series - when they gonna bring back The Master? - and I didn't see this coming at all or at least not until I saw the watch. (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/9/9b/Delgado.jpg/200px-Delgado.jpg) Roger Delgado's going to take some beating in the role though (or Roger Caesar Marius Bernard de Delgado Torres Castillo Roberto, to give him his full handle (Wikipedia is your friend - just as well really cos you wouldn't have many real friends with nerdy posts like this ;D )) Title: Re: O/T Dr Who! I thought last week's episode with the statues was one of the best ones yet...also the scariest. |
