Title: New Feature on BlondePoker
Post by: TightEnd on December 25, 2005, 08:25:03 PM
Check it out

 NEW QUIZ (http://www.blondepoker.com/quiz/024000.html)

I fainted (euphemism) when I saw it, me being a sad quiz anorak

I think the plan is to have a new quiz each week, and if there's sufficient interest (there WILL be, I plan on entering from 37 different IP addresses) weekly winners, with prizes of a Blankety Blank Checkbook and Pen (hell, wrong forum) and a leaderboard

and maybe even prizes for the funniest wrong answers

Let's see where it goes, it'll be as good as you all make it!

as much as i love a quiz, in fact i'm an anorak too, the problem is i can google all of those answers.
That is where the net can be a nuisance

I think we should look for questions you can't get qnswers to by googling, that would solve the problem, 1st quiz - 1/1/2019

1st question

"How on earth did somelike like that win a WSOP bracelet?"

time for subjective questions requiring interpretation....

Why? What's wrong with Lawrence Gosney anyway?

Hehe, wait till Gosney hears THAT. He ring me yesterday to wish me Merry Xmas, & surprised me by saying he now plays online - Gosney at a computer! Just gotta get him to sign up on blonde, & play our tourneys, we will fix the draw so he ends up on The Rookie's table, THEN you'll see fireworks!

the first one isn't in google tho i'd have thought most poker people will have read holdens book. if not i would recommend it, its by far the most interesting book on poker, especially for anyone who has been to vegas. i spent 2 hours last night scouring my computer for the answers (yes i know it was christmas day), only to find i couldn't email my answers  >:(

;redcard;:redcard: I only know three of those without googling for them! One is obvious, one is the best poker film of all time, and one of them is a damn telephone number that I use reguarly.

Have a time limit on each question...
