Post by: LeedsRhodesy on October 25, 2010, 03:56:27 PM

Hi All

Sell 50% in my action in 3 events in the venetian Deepstack in Nov,

Not really played many Bigger touraments before before due to working all the time, The only Game  i have played was the gupkt in the vic  24th for £2300ish

Really think the 10k chips and 45 min clock will really suit my game

i will be playing the event even if i sell 0% of myself

i will be playing

17/11  $340 + ($10 for 2500 Additional chips)
18/11  $340 +  $10 Additional chips
19/11   $550 + $10 Additional  chips

so looking for  $126 for 10%     (£80 ish)
                    $63 for    5%      (£40ish)

Thanks pm me if you need more info

Does this mean if you double up early or get short early you have very little chance of doing well?

I didn't mean to pick on your stake, lots of people say that same sentence and it just tilts the hell out of me. If you can't adjust to radically different stack/blind ratios then you are probably going to suffer a lot in poker tournaments, as such you should just be confident of doing well in any structure.

In short when i read that sentence it makes me think the player is just bad, it doesn't make me more likely to stake someone.

Having said that will take 20% :D
