Most don't mean anything by it but just can't help themselves and don't realise that they're being idiots. I know it's tough but just try to ignore it. Title: Re: lack of class Post by: LeedsRhodesy on October 25, 2010, 04:09:48 PM What does APAT stand for???
Title: Re: lack of class Post by: celtic on October 25, 2010, 04:20:35 PM Don't know if its the same guy but I noticed one guy ridiculously over celebrate a hand.
Title: Re: lack of class Post by: TightEnd on October 25, 2010, 04:23:47 PM Its the same guy. A rarity at our events, that sort of ott celebration. A quick word ensured he knew the score shortly afterwards

A quick word ensured he knew the score shortly afterwards I think it's one of the knock-on effects of the bizarre payout structure. It was the same guy who tried to outstare anyone who called him as though he was in a boxing match and had the cheek to turn to a respected poker player who folded to him and say 'it is all in position'! Title: Re: lack of class Post by: ScottMGee on October 25, 2010, 08:39:23 PM Its a given that idiots play poker.
Playing cash at DTD last night I (playing very tight) raise preflop in SB, BB calls as does 4 others. Flop KJx with two spades, I bet half pot. BB raises all in, others fold, I call. turn x, river a spade. BB tells me to show, before I firmly explain that I called him, he turns over Qs 6s - I am naturally a little annoyed that someone who gets lucky on the river with the 2nd nuts should try to avoid showing when I called him! Title: Re: lack of class Post by: SuuPRlim on October 28, 2010, 02:33:25 AM There are private games I play in that dont let you play again if you over celebrate. Even shouting YES or something when you hit is considered bad etiquette.
