Post by: StraightFlushBlocker on December 26, 2005, 09:36:16 AM A few days ago I read an article on CardPlayer.com about how poker is still growing, how cardrooms are opening/expanding, how there will be nearly 8,000 players at this year's WSOP Main Event. It is a fad IMO but many more decades left in it yet, as I am watching my 13 year old playing WSOP on Xbox and my 11year old playing world championship poker on PS2 upstairs, I am currently playing 3 tables online, and the mrs has just gone out to work!! Online and live cardrooms will have to worry less about attracting all the new customers and more about improving the service they already offer their existing ones. I'm already noticing this start to happen. The best cardrooms and internet sites offer a much better product than they did this time last year. |
