Title: opinions Post by: Hairydude on November 15, 2010, 02:07:42 AM Playing at 4am after a night clubbing; steaming drunk but minds workin ok! Holdem 1/2/4 very very loose cash game
I'm sitting in LP with approx £400 and Aspades Kc, decent player in mid raises to £35 I bump it to £80, all fold raiser calls, flop comes a horrible Qc 8s 8c, raiser checks(smelt fishy) so I check, turns 3c, better puts in £25, I call river is 4c, he puts in £100, after 30 secs deliberation I call he tables Ahrt 8h Guy then goes on to berate how awful a player I am(no arguments here) but think I played this pretty optimally-opinions? Title: Re: opinions Post by: jonlundy on November 15, 2010, 03:08:17 AM you won a pot when you was drunk. wp nuff said.

Title: Re: opinions Post by: cambridgealex on November 15, 2010, 06:32:07 PM Have I read it right that he makes it over 11+ BB's to start with then you just over min-raise him? jam pre Title: Re: opinions Post by: cambridgealex on November 15, 2010, 06:32:57 PM raiser checks(smelt fishy) - why? sometimes checks do smell fishy Title: Re: opinions Post by: cambridgealex on November 15, 2010, 06:37:48 PM 30secs of diliberation? i hope this is because you were smashed, cos this is pretty much a snap call every day. you have the 2nd nut flush on a 4flush, paired board. no point in raising, and we're never folding vs someone that 11xs it pre with A8 then calls a 3bet (albeit a way too small 3bet) oop, then bets 25 into 160 on the turn with trips when there's 3clubs out.
The only other reason for not snapping it off is so you can high five the dealer first. Title: Re: opinions Post by: SuuPRlim on November 16, 2010, 01:33:50 AM 3bet bigger (much bigger)
Chk flop (unless you've 3bet bigger whereas you might have to jam or bet fold depending on the players stack which uv ommited to mention) call turn call river Title: Re: opinions Post by: JK on November 16, 2010, 11:05:57 AM 30secs of diliberation? i hope this is because you were smashed, cos this is pretty much a snap call every day. you have the 2nd nut flush on a 4flush, paired board. no point in raising, and we're never folding vs someone that 11xs it pre with A8 then calls a 3bet (albeit a way too small 3bet) oop, then bets 25 into 160 on the turn with trips when there's 3clubs out. Dont play drunk is the best tip :D Title: Re: opinions Post by: kinboshi on November 16, 2010, 12:03:36 PM Title: Re: opinions Post by: cambridgealex on November 16, 2010, 12:46:21 PM OMG NOW YOUR STEALING MY SAYINGS!
