hardly played a hand all year trips away have been  limited mainly due to needing treatment on my feet 3-4 times a week
but fortunately my feet are nearly heeled and i want to get away in the new year
i cant decide between spain or nottingham
spain looks a bugger to get too and going to be more expensive but
i've never been and the people that are going gtd a laugh
nottingham will be cheaper and easier to get too
colder and alot less hassle and a much bigger prizepool
...but there will also be a few idiots i would prefer not to see
dont think i can do both not back to back weekends

the main thing about spain at any time of the year is it's not nottingham

yeah but last time i was in nottingham i had a blast lesbians flashing bits and bobs
the food is edible and there is DTD

I would say come visit me in Nottingham. But i will be on a small island in the Indian Ocean on one of the 63 beaches.

Either poker in Nottingham, or actually explore a bit of Spain. Travelling to Spain to play an APAT event just makes no sense to me.

If you're more interested in poker then DTD would be the better option.

If you're actually going to spend some time outside of the casino / cardroom doing things other than poker then it's not even close.

If you fancy a holiday to Spain then go there and fit in the APAT comp as part of it.

If not then it doesn't seem worth the extra cost and effort.

I personally 100% advocate choosing who you spend your time with carefully, but in the same token I would never let someone stop me doing what I wanted to do.

It's a no brainer.  Get yer backside to Cork/Kerry.  From Luton or Manchester to Kerry airport is dirt cheap and I'd even book into that same hotel in Killarney for the week-end just to hang out with ya.  Will even bring Bridget. 

In fact...if we plan it for a week-end other than APAT, might convince a few more of the gang to join us. 

PS  Just checked with Ger and he agrees.  So I'm not daft.  lol
