Title: Re: Weekend Football Post by: mondatoo on December 04, 2010, 01:03:44 AM Do people really think Newcastle will win tomorrow? Absolutely no chance of us winning tmoro ;) I can't see why anyone would think it was a good idea to try and predict one of our results. and a cheeky trixie including the above - 3.40 kempton - Arteus 2.55 Southwell - Love Delta Title: Re: Weekend Football Post by: Horneris on December 04, 2010, 12:27:00 PM its a footie thread but i'll post a dead cert horse selection - Brabazon 7.50 wolves Not sure i could back it at 11/10 after missing out on 50/1 last race. Also, not sure any horse with Juliet Burke on board could ever be described as a dead cert. Title: Re: Weekend Football Post by: Matt50 on December 04, 2010, 03:21:15 PM Have also backed Chelsea, layed Derby and layed Millwall.

You've got to be worried Matt, Palace are diabolocal. Title: Re: Weekend Football Post by: gatso on December 04, 2010, 06:27:15 PM Just got back from the Leeds game. Title: Re: Weekend Football Post by: Matt50 on December 06, 2010, 01:04:08 PM Just got back from the Leeds game. You've got to be worried Matt, Palace are diabolocal. Is this an honest or biased view. i listened to the game on the radio and Palace created a few chances - stats also show that we had 14 shots at goal, not bad away from home. i am not too worried at the moment - we struggled badly with injuries at the start of the season but are finding some form at home now. the key will be January though when both Speroni and Danns could be sold as they are both out of contract at the end of the season. Title: Re: Weekend Football Post by: Horneris on December 06, 2010, 03:15:28 PM Why would i be biased? We won! :dontask: and i've got nothing against Palace.
Just thought defensively you were shocking. No organization/leadership. And thats what i always look at, being a centre back myself. Thought it could've been like 6-3 to Leeds. Not bad going forward, I wasn't impressed by Counago and Vaughan but Danns, Clyne (the RB, got forward like a right midfielder, very good) and obviously Ambrose were all excellent. You looked really bad. You might have had some attempts on goal but nothing that was amazing. |
