I didn't know a lot about these events so searches were my friend

What is Unibet Open?

Unibet Open is a series of live €1,500 poker tournaments held around Europe.  The four-day events are capped at 450 players, and are comprehensively covered live on the Unibet Open website.

Who is Unibet?

Unibet International is a publicly listed company on the Stockholm stock exchange. Started in 1997, Unibet.com provides a platform for online poker, games and a sportsbook to over 4.9 million customers, as well as operating Unibet Open, and providing live poker updates and news from the tournaments.

How can I play at the Unibet Open?

The buy-in for each tournament is €1,500 and direct buy in or satellite entry

What is the event like?

Over just three years, Unibet Open has grown from a single event into a tour spanning Europe. One of the reasons for its popularity is the atmosphere at each event – a volatile mix of qualifiers, amateurs and professionals playing for six-figure prizepools makes each one a unique and exciting experience. At the same time the emphasis is on enjoying the competition, seeing the sights in the beautiful host locations and enjoying the Unibet Open hospitality in the players’ lounge, at parties and side events.

The use of the word volatile above amused me!

If you'd seen them play you'd understand the use of the word volatile. :D

There is a lot of value here generally. They're good fun events though for people who can't afford the EPT buy-ins and I honestly believe that, it's perhaps not quite as serious as a PokerStars event - not that it's necessarily a bad thing.
