Title: Re: big club, small club Post by: The Camel on December 09, 2010, 07:00:00 PM Check out the wiki page for Wycombe Wanderers.
It's more comprehensive than the Man Utd page! Title: Re: big club, small club Post by: gatso on December 09, 2010, 07:04:19 PM I read somewhere that spurs had the highest average attendance during the 60's I think we can give you that one Spurs, 7th position, 75,038 sickeningly only 7 more than the official record at charlton to give you the no. 2 spot in london (though it's accepted that several games at the valley had over 80k due to the ridic low walls which were very easy to jump) just the no.1 missing from the top 10 now Title: Re: big club, small club Post by: gatso on December 09, 2010, 07:48:09 PM I'm gonna post the missing answers cos otherwise I'll forget but gonna do it in little letters cos tighty's still trying to work out the bonuses
coming in at number 1 we rather aptly have the massives. Manchester City, 1st place, 84,569, meaning the top 2 were both at maine road the missing bonus from the top 10 is arsenal whose record was set during their period playing home champs league games at wembley. they'd still be in 9th place though even if we used their highbury record of 73,295 moving on to the bottom 10 we're missing chelthenham who are also a bonus answer having had their record gate of 10,389 at the local athletics ground the other bonuses are stevenage who played a home fa cup tie vs. birmingham at st. andrews and accrington stanley who borrowed ewood park for the day to play crewe |
