Title: Weekend betting Post by: TightEnd on December 10, 2010, 04:49:27 PM Not the easiest of football weeks that is for sure
What are people on across the sporting specturm, with whom and at what price? I feel a Girgy nine-fold comingin this weekend......... Title: Re: Weekend betting Post by: Karabiner on December 10, 2010, 09:58:56 PM I have a feelthy ew. bet for tomorrow but the bookies seem to be behaving equally feelthily.
Most of them are only going 1/5th the odds 123. in the rescheduled Tingle Creek 'chase. Kalahari King 1.55pm. Cheltenham. Title: Re: Weekend betting Post by: Horneris on December 10, 2010, 10:43:14 PM Villa are a massive price @ 2.22
Also backing Palace @ 2.52 Going to Burnley tomorrow, come on Leeds! This was your quote after last weeks game: Just got back from the Leeds game. You've got to be worried Matt, Palace are diabolocal. You must think that Hull are absolutely dreadful ;) Title: Re: Weekend betting Post by: sweet potata! on December 10, 2010, 10:56:47 PM Villa are a massive price @ 2.22 Also backing Palace @ 2.52 Going to Burnley tomorrow, come on Leeds! Title: Re: Weekend betting Post by: Horneris on December 10, 2010, 11:03:03 PM Hull are worse than Palace!
Hull came to our place and had 1 attempt on goal in 90 minutes and that was from 35 yards (unfortunately it went in). Looking at the bigger picture, coming into the championship i thought it was going to be full of good footballing sides, a lot better than League One but it simply hasn't been the case. We are poor and in the playoff places!!! Palace a big price @ 2.52 Title: Re: Weekend betting Post by: Josedinho on December 11, 2010, 12:24:56 AM Quite like Spurs on Sunday.
Did a job on Chelsea last year when Bale and Lennon got past their narrow defence. Ivanovic doesn't look as strong at CB as he does at RB and if Ferreira is right back Bale could destroy him. I know the whole "avoid Spurs after a Champions League week" but the game in midweek didn't really matter so hopefully won't effect them. Chelsea are on a bad run and Drogba hasn't scored away from home this season. Title: Re: Weekend betting Post by: craigbetts on December 11, 2010, 01:05:37 AM Do the Toon fans think they are a big price at home v Liverpool? Factor in a new manager (whether he is good long term) and their hot and cold perfomances. This must make them a decent punt at home if they are up for it.

Think the new manager bump thing only works when it's an unpopular guy being replaced by a more promising replacement. Seems like it's the other way round here. If the players had a good relationship with Chris Hughton it's likely they won't really be totally focused to say the least. What about when a caretaker comes in who is clearly -ev long term, yet pulls a win out the bag first up! Thats my reckoning as I am not sure Newcastle have appointed a better manager. It's against Liverpool. Anything can happen, and it's away from home so anything often includes not winning.
