a middle aged perspective

Go down to the waterfront area by the Hotel Arts. Really nice cafes/bars etc day or night

Daytime take a trip up to the Montjuic park, where the Olympic stadium is. Sensational views of the whole city and down to the coast.  Espanyol play in the stadium too, btw

Nou Camp is a must see too, good stadium tour

Love Barca, amazing city just be aware it has a massive rep for pickpocketers and muggings especially in the area round the casino.

Pedants Corner...Espanyol moved out of the Olympic Stadium last year to a much more compact ground. Good job imo as I watched Espanyol in the old ground and the atmosphere wasn't the best. It's the Barca derby this Saturday.

The tourist bus is a good way to see the city if you are feeling lazy.

Great views of the city from Parc Guell, easyish to get to via metro and some uphill climbing. A few decent bars on a road called Calle de Ferran.

I've yet to meet anyone who isn't inspired by Gaudis work in Barcalona.

Waterfront has more cocktail/dance clubs with loud music and younger women (in less clothes).
