Title: Flopped full house Post by: acc2020 on December 27, 2010, 03:59:14 PM Cash game 50p/£1
Me £270 Button £300+ UTG i raise to £7 with Ks Kd 2 other callers Button ( mostly play premium cards 3/4 hands per hour )re raises to £25 Both blinds fold I flat call to hide the strength of my hand , other 2 pass. Flop Kh Ad Ac I lead out for a measly £15 looking weak hoping he has something like Ahrt Kc and that he'll re raise but he elects to flat call. Turn Aspades The worst possible card , now I'm hoping he doesn't have the ace. I bet £55 , he announces all in. I take a couple of minutes and then fold. Neither of us reveal our cards. Is it worth me shipping the £175 i have left ? I know many players would not mind shipping the rest of it in here . Good or bad fold ? Title: Re: Flopped full house Post by: EvilPie on December 27, 2010, 04:16:44 PM Horrible spot. No idea what to do. Probs just fold and hope I haven't been bluffed.
Lol at hoping he has AK on the flop though. You know that beats you right? Title: Re: Flopped full house Post by: acc2020 on December 27, 2010, 04:23:55 PM lol

Title: Re: Flopped full house Post by: SuuPRlim on December 27, 2010, 07:26:27 PM Luckily this situation crops up in PLO once an hour lol
Turn is a good fold imo - and thank you villain for making our lives far too easy, turn raise from him is terrible watever he has You have to check/call the turn here imo betting puts you in a horrible spot where you have the 2nd nuts and his range is made up of bluff catchers and the nuts - there is practically no way to get two streets of value from any hand (most of which will be splitting with you anyways) but hands like 99 TT etc will possibly call one street but NEVER two. chk/call turn chk/fold river ftw IMO - when you c/call he'll put you on a King and most people wont expect you to fold so will rarely bluff the river - no smaller pairs bet the turn so you can CONSIDER a Vbet on the river if turn is chked but that would be a vacuum/villain specific decision. Oh, and run better ;) Title: Re: Flopped full house Post by: redarmi on December 27, 2010, 07:51:17 PM ( mostly play premium cards 3/4 hands per hour ) If this is true and his reraising range is as tight then I would say you were probably already behind. Unless you have history that suggests he might be reraising hands like AJ or AQ on the button then I would say it is a fairly easy (but painful) fold. I'm tempted to believe you made a great fold, but then again people tend to show Quads, don't they? Are sure he's tight? Title: Re: Flopped full house Post by: AlexMartin on December 28, 2010, 04:53:01 AM i mean, c/c, c/c c/f should be your absolute standard here against this guy. also id be extremely happy to 4b this hand pre against a nit who likely has JJ+/AK and wont generally ever fold preflop.
Title: Re: Flopped full house Post by: pleno1 on December 28, 2010, 05:27:44 AM I make it £53 pre, pretty easy to get money in so it's fine to make it really cheap pre. As played I'd c/f most turns unless he bet like super tiny.
