Atlantis is an overpriced shythole imo.

Staff are terrible, food below average, casino is dreadful.

However the PCA is a fantastic tournament.

such a joke last night, my dad and I meet, flushy, jake, sykes, ash, dean, si, and ronald, at the lobby to go for a chineese. All of a sudden moorman, taypaur, stammdog ball up. My dad decides to go for a meal with them at a grill, Obv we both lose the flip $700 at the chineese and $550 at the bar and grill. So sick. Had a quiet one and was in bed my midnight, while my old man got pissed with moorman and taypaur. Had to sell 25% to moorman on MU to get $2500 ill need to pay the excess bill sigh.
Day 1a starts in 3 hours, lets gogogogogoggogoog

Katchalov wins $1.5m, moves his career earnings to nearly $6m, Negreanu moves past Ivey into first with $14m in lifetime earnings, but DaveShoelace has already told you that!

the women they get on these shows are just so stupid and so incapable of a conversation especially when it's related in any way to poker. Leatherman looks more like a whore in most episodes than a presenter same with the PAD woman Tweeden. It's not a case of 'I wouldn't' or ' I have the ghay' it's just the way they make them look would much prefer other less OTT more attractive people. Who cares if they cant talk or talk poker they're only on there because they are fit.

had strange day 1 table, saw in seat 2, seat 3 was foxu and seat 4 was john shipley and seat 1 was chino rheem.
Built to 77k coming back from dinner at 300/600 50 when a guy opens i peel ATdd and we see a T23 flop, he cbets i click it back to induce a spazz, he duly slings his 25k in with 88 and pings the river. Very next hand AKhh raise/call a 20bb stack and he has dem aces, was pretty agrivated and had to compose, happy to make it with 22bb at the end of play, shipley played out of his skin btw very impressed

Dave Sands raised to 18,500 from the cutoff and Toby Lewis called from the big blind.

The flop came down  and Lewis checked. Sands bet 23,500 and Lewis called, delivering the  turn card. Both checked, with the  following on the river. Lewis bet 45,000 and after about two minutes Sands called, but mucked when Lewis turned over .

Lewis: Up to about 590,000Sands: Down to about 456,000

There are plenty of fake Jacobs flying around, not saying any of the ones s4ooter has seen are, but they have been 'common' because of this. As for it went out of fashion in 2005, hardly. Maybe the particular collection he is wearing has, I haven't seen it, but the brand is buzzing, especially in the celebrity and hip hop cultures, which is what Jacobs&Co was initially designed for.

p.s. Massive sigh for Middy

They're not really made to be 'classy' If you want a classy watch, you need to look elsewhere. They are still very much in fashion, which is backed up by the numerous pictures you see with celebrities wearing them and all the hip hop songs still mentioning them. Obviously agree that as an ultimate fashion accesssory, their peak may have been a little while back. As a watch though, I disagree that they are outdated. Anyways, way off topic I think, but I do find it amusing that I like to think I am a watch expert while drunk.

Jacob the Jeweler" copped to charges that he lied to the feds and falsified records in a plea deal that could put the famed diamond dealer on ice for nearly four years.

King of bling Jacob Arabo pleaded guilty in federal court in Detroit yesterday, agreeing to serve between 37 and 46 months behind bars and pay $2 million in penalties.

In exchange for the plea, prosecutors dropped more serious charges that he joined a money-laundering conspiracy to hide approximately $270 million in dirty drug profits for the "Black Mafia Family," a drug ring.

"I realize I have made a terrible mistake and I accept the consequences. America is the greatest country on earth and I have great regret that I violated the law," Arabo said.

He was arrested in June 2006 at his Jacob & Co. store in Manhattan, where he has catered to the likes of Madonna, Sean "Diddy" Combs and hoops star Allen Iverson.

The jeweler likely faced 15 years behind bars if he was convicted of money laundering.

Lawyers for Arabo said he

Toby Lewis and Chris Oliver got all the money in preflop for this race situation. Lewis was ahead with pocket sevens. He'd need to fade the five board cards against Oliver's {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} in order to stay alive.

The flop came down {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Lewis stayed in the lead. He even added a straight draw. The turn was the {K-Spades} and that vaulted Oliver to the front with a pair of kings. The river completed the board with the {4-Spades} and that was it. Lewis was eliminated in 34th place while Oliver moved to 3.2 million.

Why would that be funny?

Cos he's pretty lol bad at poker and hasn't done anything in tournaments for yonks.

In fact, he's won under $600k in tournaments since his 2003 Main event win, despite how many comps he's played & his stars deal.

This............sat next to him at the PCA a couple of years ago seemed like a good bloke too tbh. Don't think stars really pay for many of his entries either, he told me he was mostly salary based. Despite all the shit he gets he a decent winner at limit hold'em too, or he certainly was anyway.............
