Title: New Book Reviewer, New Book Review
Post by: TightEnd on December 28, 2005, 07:42:37 PM
Andrew T is making an idiosyncratic debut into the world of book reviews with his review of

Erick Lindgren's "Making the Final Table" which can be found at

http://www.blondepoker.com/books/210009.html

I've heard a lot about this book, particularly how some of the advice opposes the Oracle, Dan Harrington

I am sure Andrew would welcome feedback on the review and the book here and of course, if you want to purchase any of the books our amateur yet expert team of reviewers have cast an eye over, please use the Blonde link to Amazon provided on the home page.

I just finished this book today and I agree with Andrew's review. It starts off great and I was thinking wow man this is gonna be THE book which takes me up to a winning loose aggresive playing loads of hands kind of style but then it just sort of goes downhill from there. I did like the maths section because I found it easier to understand than other books especially the bit about putting your opponent on a range of hands. Good book yes. Great book unfortunatey no.
