No real skill involved but if we can get at least 5 people interested it'll be worth doing.

My good friend Stuart Hopkin is keeping a diary of how much alcohol he consumes over the course of this year.

He is also on the advice of Longy counting up his total curries as well.

This obviously presents us with something to bet on.

1 - Total pints of guinness consumed during 2011
2 - Total number of curries consumed during 2011
3 - Total number of days where neither a beer or curry is consumed.

I'm proposing $20 per person for 1, 2 or all of the above, obv $60 if you do all 3.

Could do more or less if people want to. I don't mind organising it whereby people can bet as much as they want up to say $50 and payout based on how much was invested. Should help keep it fun if more are involved.

My guesses will be pm'd to Nakor.

Need at least 5 in to make it worth doing. No money to be sent until it's confirmed as being on.

Possible side bet action to be had for events such as 'Lanzarote trip with 70 complete animals' to be decided as and when.

Other side bets such as monthly totals if there's interest.

I've done this separate to ensure it gets seen by as many as possible.

I love this bet and Im in - the only problem is  - ive seen hopkin drunk -  how will he know how many pints he has had?

Basically he's going to be as accurate as possible possibly keeping track on his phone.

He has no reason to make anything up so we just have to trust what he says.

How do your guesses work? Accurate totals only? Obv v hard. Or closest. Does under always beat over such as price is right. etc.

Just had a PM from Nakor with his guesses for all 3 categories at $20 each.

I'm definitely in as well and will match anybody up to $50 per category.

Looks like this will definitely go ahead.

Entries permitted up to the Lanzarote trip which is in a few weeks.

Entries can also be amended up to that date in order to keep things fair.

My entry will be in tonight and can't be amended as this would be unfair due to me seeing everybody elses. I know him anyway so seeing the next few weeks worth of drinking / curries won't change my guess.

I don't think I've ever met Stuart so I'm deffo the fish here but I'll take $20 on each one, PMd evilpie

Only 3 confirmed entrants so far.

Don't forget you can bet as little or as much as you like. I don't mind sorting out side pots. Even if it's just $1 I really don't mind. The more entries the better.

Also don't forget that entries can be amended up to Stu's Lanzarote trip. This may help as you get a feel for his habits at the start of the year.

Despite some early interest only 2 people have come forward with official guesses so this probably won't go ahead.

If we can get a couple more involved it'll be worth following but we need at least 5 to make the money worth winning.

Don't forget there's no upper or lower limit on the amount you can bet on each category. All side pots will be worked out accordingly.

Hopefully we'll get a few guesses in in the next few days to make it worth doing. Otherwise it's a big sigh.....

Too much,I don't go out and have 2-3 drinks very often like you seem to,if I have a drink, I have a proper drink.I'll do an update one week on my thread for how much I drink in a week.You can pick the week but not next week.
