I mean it's not like valentines or anything! Fortunately Shelley wouldn't want me to pay that for flowers so the florist can keep trying! They weren't even super amazing roses or anything! Shelley got her dates wrong and thought it was the 9th whereas it's actually the 8th (confusion stemming from both of us only really remembering the date we flew out)! It is in the bank! reminds me actually of the first valentine's day after I met my ex hubby. Lovely dozen roses delivered to the office. I phoned him to thank him. Flowers are great as a spontaneous romantic gift. But once you go home empty handed from the florist and discuss the unrealistic price of a bunch with your partner I kinda feel the magic is lost. Then if you come home the next day with some bargain roses from Asda your mrs will be like WTF are these? We've been married for one year and you're already bringing me this shit? |
