You can attach a picture using the "Additional Options", but it has to be fairly diddy.

Under the Bold/Italic etc buttons are Youtube, flash, video, hyperlink buttons. Click the thing you want. Youtube put the alphanumeric reference between the ] and the [. Pictures put the URL of the picture. Hyperlinks put the text between the ] and [, change the first url to url=link, so


becomes:

TK's wiki page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Kendall_%28poker_player%29)

(http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/11/Tony-kendall.jpg)

If you have an image on your computer and you want to show it in a post, you can use photobucket (or similar service) to upload the image to the web and then copy the link to it and use that in your post.

Erm...how does this work with Facebook photo's? Do I need to transfer the photo to photo bucket first?

no you don't need too.  right click on the pic in facebook and, depending what browser you're using, copy the image location url somehow, then paste it here with the [img] tags around it

don't fb links have problems with privacy settings and people not signed in to fb can't see them?

dunno.  i've done it loads before and no-one's ever said they can't see it.  Here's a test.

yeah, that works because strangely the link isn't to fb

yeah that's why you have to right click on the pic to get to the source url

edit: what i've said above makes perfect sense to me, but i've no idea if it's proper terminology or owt. ykwim though.  hopefully.

How do I change increase the font size on my posts..I have tried using the A updown arrow above but this doesnt do anything..I'm obviously missing something but can't quite figure out what it is!!!

See what i did there ?

Type what ya want to say, then highlight it and click on the A with the up/down arrow next to it This puts the 'size' thingy on either end of your text. 

Where it says 'size=10' pick the number of the font ya wanna use and replace it with the 10 it started out with.
