Played like 10 hands and he has 3bet or raised the flop to win. Thoughts on all streets apart from pre.

this might be reasonable/terrible or just really sick on you behalf.

without knowing what you knew or thought you knew during this hand its virtually impossible for anyone to comment, I mean the play is pretty non stnd

Instinctively id say its a sick hand from you in a vacuum, wp

This. Seems like a very strange line to take readless. There are a lot of assumptions you have to make to make this calldown.

Thought process.

Pre: Fuck yeah, lets get this in. He was being super aggro and was more than happy to call it off.

Flop: Didn't want to bet, as he had lots of momentum and just didnt think he'd fold, I thought if I bet I can get myself in lots of trouble. So I checked.

When he bet: My hand is  pretty face up here, but for balance I actually take this line with 88+ sometimes. Watched a really cool hand where jungleman c/c three streets on super dry board in 3bet pot with aces and was sexyyy. So I planned to call if he bet, he bet super quick, so made me call quicker.

On turn: I expect him to double barrel alot, also there are two flush draws out.  Although there arent many combinations of hands that I beat both my cards arent the same suits as the flush draw and I genuinely just didn't really think he was super strong. (I expected him to check behind with lottttttttttttts of hands on the river so didnt think I had to be scared about a river shove, and if he did shove the river I was polarising him between air/sets if flush cards missed.

River: Perfect card, he is fully polarised now (my thought process i'm not telling you what is right, thats why i'm asking for advice) and I reallly really doubted he'd shove like 9's here. So I called it off.

I wouldn't agree with this at all. He has every Kx and he almost certainly jams every 8x too if he is at all aware of his image

Yeah in polarised range i meant sets+Kx, what do I call with on river that 8x beats? (apart from AQ :P I dont expect him to think I'd call with ace high)

After 10 hands and no reads, looks like big spew. You won't be sure what his defending range is, maybe he defends SC's alot or maybe hi cards but its a guessing game 10 hands in. You also have no basis to make the assumption hes polarised yet.

you just bet/folding the flop most of the time?

yea bet folding early doors, but its a good board to barrel so firing 2 most likely 3.
