Title: Comedy Classics on Virgin
Post by: sharpy on December 29, 2005, 12:35:14 PM

Last night on virgin I witnessed these 2 hands within 5 mins of each other. Both hands involved the same player. The first hand helped me and the second made me fall of my chair....

  First hand.

After taking a big hit  I was seriously shortstacked approaching the bubble of a 420 runner tourny, when I picked up A,Q o/s in mid pos.Having just over 1 bb in chips I pushed it in,Got called on the button. Now the bb had to only call an extra 87 chips on a bb of 1600 but he folded(possible misclick perhaps).

The flop came 9,Q,3 rainbow, turn 9 and the river 4...

The button had A,10 so I survived to fight another hand..At this point the bb announced that he folded 9,3.When someone asked why he didn't call the 87 chips pre-flop he replied..."Is that all the extra bet was?"...Now I don't know about you but even when i'm playing 2 or more tables at once I always pay extra attention when i'm in the blinds!....I can only think that the guy in the bb had clicked the fold to any raise box....anyway 2 hands later he gets his payday

blinds are still 800/1600 and UTG raises 4bb's I have A'Q o/s again and fold this time.It gets folded round to mateyboy on the button who calls and the 2 blinds fold. The flop comes Q high .UTG bets 1/2 the pot.Now matey on the button says "I've got Kings but I think you might have Aces",but he calls any way.The turn comes a K..UTG pushes all-in and the button calls like a flash.....UTG has AA the button KK :D :D :D :D

After picking myself up of the floor I managed to crawl into the money but I thought everyone would like an example of the fun and games to be had on virgin at the moment

On Virgin  Ad 3c is the new  7c 4h ......it's just unbeatable. I've been all in against it 4 times in the last two days with AA/AA/AKs/AK. Result - 0/4  ;reallyamsorry;

Another Virgin hand from early in a little STT:

Multiple limpers (maybe a minimum raise in there somewhere) - flop of 678 rainbow. The betting goes beserk. Absolute carnage. When the dust settles 4 people are all in and turn over:

66

77

88

45

The straight held up to win a monster pot  rotflmfao

I have to admit it is mental on there... the 20 buck STTs are definitely where the dosh is if you ask me.

Just sit and wait a few levels then go and clean up.

Easy money to the extreme.

Sooooooo many people fold for tiny raises in the big blind because they're not concentrating. It makes me laugh, and makes some scream chip dump foul.
