Title: Line check
Post by: david3103 on January 26, 2011, 02:23:40 PM
.50/1 Live cash

Stacks - Villain 1 £100ish
Villain 2 £120
Me £90

7 or 8 limps to me in Button with  Ahrt Ks

I raise to £8

2 callers  --  regular Chinese guy, oldish, definitely retired from work, let's call him 'Mr can't fold a flush draw' and BB who is unknown to me, but he's proved to be a bit of  a station. He stacked me for £110 earlier when he got AA v my QQ

Flop is  Kc 9c 4d

'Mr can't fold a flush draw' smiles and bets £8 I am 99.9% certain that this meanis he has two clubs.
BB calls

I should?....

well if he has a flush draw 999 times in 1000 then decide how u think he plays the turn on different turns and act accordingly.  also id raise more pre

pot is ~£30 ishand he bets £8, we have £80 odd behind

call then raise non club turns might be for the purists, but if you are sure he has a FD, and dont think he'lll ever fold you can just JAM imo

he'll make a bad call and we ship about £20 in EV, wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

try and hold if you can as well

what If he is only 998/1000 sure? Does this effect our decision?

Surely hes only betting £8 cos he is Chinese?

Let's assume I'm 100% right and that my next action is based on that certainty...

If you are very sure he has a flush draw and will call then get it in now.....you have to be ahead of the both players range and you are likely to get a call form a player that is behind.

nah i dont think he is, its live poker people never fold lol - my reasoning for wanting a bigger raise pre is with 90bbs I really wanna shallow the SPR as much as poss pf, makes it so much easier to get your stack in on boards like this

no-one is folding KQ or AJ dw ;)
