I was playing heads up against my GF and pushed all in after the flop, only to be beat! How could I have played this differently???

You should have waited until the river before you put your money in so that you'd know if you had the best hand or not. Getting it in on the flop is just gambling really. And poker players should know where they are rather than gamble.

best deck rigging ever was I believe in cardiff. tighty was dealing a normal s&g and matt dale was late to sit down so a plan was hatched to deal him aces first hand, have them cracked, laugh at him for a bit then tell him what had happened, give him his chips back and start properly

everyone except matt and jonmw folded pre, think they got it allin on the ace high flop and we all waited for jon's runner runner straight with AK. unfortunately rich had messed up and the wrong river card came out leading to matt celebrating, jon looking stunned and the rest of the table cracking up. obv we couldn't now  take the chips back so we didn't tell him what had happened and had to carry on with matt doubled up and poor jon knocked out

LOLz at the tighty story. BTW, the bird is a terrible actress. What has the world come to when someone rigs a deck for giggles then posts it on an internet for some bizzare reason and I'm commenting on it, FML.

I might have been a little wrong - its only a circa 8k pot!

Basically there was an action giver who set up (lets call it a home game) which became very popular very quickly. All the gala regs of 3/4 years ago used to play, but i was by invite only.

Game got very juicy and people used to sit redic deep. This not only became the last hand of a particularly late night, but the last hand of the game after the news gets out.

A dealer was provided, but the organiser would deal (whilst playing) during her breaks (5 mins an hour). 2 hands before it happens he reloads to sit 2.5k deep. (covering table, but most people have circa 2k except 1 shorty with circa 250). He tells her to take her break, she says, its fine and she will keep dealing for 15 mins as she isnt ready for a smoke, he abruptly tells her to go, she goes.

Now I obv dont know the exact action, but basically there is a raise/re raise etc pre and shorty gets it all in with TT pre with everyone just calling.

now I think at this point the guy running the game hoped that the other players in the pot would slow play their  AA KK and AK respectively, but clearly they thought otherwise with 1k in the middle and got all of their money in on the flop. Now it still isnt terrible, he COULD have cold 3 bet bluff jammed his 55, but he only called the original raiser, meaning that he ended up CALLING 2.2k with 55 behind all the other action - i mean obv he could have been live right?

well that or he knew that the turn would come a 5 and the river would come a 5!

There was actually no calls of shenanigans there and then, just stunned amazement at the hand as they all opened their hands 1 by 1. But it didnt take long after the game insta broke for all the above pieces and hand action to get put together for then to start to doubt it.

The game died that night.
