Title: Re: 100nl 6max online Post by: SuuPRlim on February 28, 2011, 09:53:57 PM FML so no1 calls pre with suited K8d from bb ? :( Reverse Implied Odds Everyone else's ranges include lots and lots of better hands, and few worse ones. Do we want to play out of position vs people with better hands than us, not me! Do we want to play out of position vs people with better hands than us, not me! Ah ok thanks for an explanation rather than just bad play lol. I seem to get drawn in to suited kings queens etc from bb in multiway pots, guess this is 'wrong' ? I seem to get drawn in to suited kings queens etc from bb in multiway pots, guess this is 'wrong' ? yh, i mean its easy to do, but basically the hands dont flop anywhere near as well as you think when you're constantly versus dominating hands - if i was on form id be rocking out some flop-equity graphs here but in lots of pain so gonna skip, sorry lol Title: Re: 100nl 6max online Post by: TheFallen on March 02, 2011, 05:04:17 PM lead the flop. makes life easier and gives a better opportunity to value town shortstack

Title: Re: 100nl 6max online Post by: skolsuper on March 02, 2011, 05:48:52 PM Dubai right as usual, don't be folding the abs top of our range when there are a couple of missed draws out.
But yeah, +1 to all the other replies that say don't end up in this spot. Title: Re: 100nl 6max online Post by: Rupert on March 02, 2011, 05:57:46 PM yeye +2
also someone buying in with an amount bigger than the minimum but not the maximum makes it very likely they are a fish so theres ur read (given that they're being agro, it also makes them more likely to be an agro fish too) Title: Re: 100nl 6max online Post by: skolsuper on March 02, 2011, 06:26:33 PM yeye +2 also someone buying in with an amount bigger than the minimum but not the maximum makes it very likely they are a fish so theres ur read (given that they're being agro, it also makes them more likely to be an agro fish too) Bayesian probability ITT edit: quoted wrong post, made no sense Title: Re: 100nl 6max online Post by: Rupert on March 02, 2011, 06:33:36 PM was going to let someone question that logic then smash a wikipedia link in their face
Title: Re: 100nl 6max online Post by: geeforce1 on March 02, 2011, 11:07:45 PM i dont hate this at all. 50bb stack in hand. suited good king. not ideal obv, but just snap saying its bad, imo, is out of date. taking thinner spots against table marks i think is essential now, its often a race between regs to stack these guys. reverse implied odds has been said, but u have a hand which dominates villains hands in terms of diamond draws, 8's and also K's if the 50bb is playing 60%+. vs 2regs it probs wouldnt be ok (i am assuming that villain isnt a reg)
