Title: Train Travel To London
Post by: Matt.NFFC. on February 27, 2011, 10:40:27 AM
Morning folks,

Am trying to find the cheapest rail fares to London, have had a look at some websites like East Coast, East Midlands Trains and The Trainline and the best I can get is about £33 return.

Looking to go on Saturday 7 May from Newark Northgate early doors and returning same day.

Offer codes anyone??

RailEasy.co.uk  FTW

Leave at 6am - return 19:30, 20:30 or 21:00 =  £23.50.
Limited options if you want to leave later then that outbound.

Dependent on what time you're leaving = £8.45 single leaving at 6.04am. Then £12.45 single coming back at the following times: 17.40, 18.03, 18.40, 19.30, 20.30, 21.00.

All these on the East Coast website and travelling to/from London Kings Cross.

Are these prices likely to go up or stay the same if I leave it a month or so?

These prices are pretty good, 6:04am start is brutal though.....

Only going to go up. Cheap tickets are released 12 weeks in advance and when they're gone, they're gone.
