Went shopping to the Westfield centre today in west London... Its a fairly new massive shopping mall that makes Bluewater look like a corner shop...

But they charge you to park  !!   £15 for 4 hours... Are you fucking kidding me ? Should be bloody free...

does seem ridic expensive.  only a few stops on the tube for me, so wouldn't usually even think of driving.  drove there one year before xmas and they had free parking at the time so i guess that was a lucky swerve.

Getting there by public transport bit of an arse from herts... + sitting with all those common folk ..yeuch !

A while ago (presume feeling the recession) they were offering the first 2 hrs free.

Website says 4 hrs is £10, 4-7 hrs £15............so you could have stayed for 7 hrs  :D

If i stayed for 7 hours wouldnt have the fifteen quid left to get out

it's actually slightly smaller than bluewater in terms of retail space. the new westfield pwns both though

Nah, I don't do shopping gatso. Been to lakeside about 5 times in my life, hated every time, so stopped going. I don't get blokes that want to go to these big shopping centres to wander around for hours going in different shops. It's just not right.

I'm glad sicilidonk finally managed to crack the complicated Nando's service system though. Last time he tried it, he was sat at his table and got up and left after no one had come to take his order. lolololol

obv lakeside sucks, it's got a shitty foodhall with terribad fast food places. westfield is different gravy for food outlets though. all those restaurants directly under the cinema then on the way home there's a wagamamas outside

Lakeside has some decent stuff outside, White City wins though.

But why would I travel all that way to try restaurants? I have loads around me, and would prob prefer to go into London, which I hate as well by the way.
